St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City has proven that there is real synergy when everyone works together to improve the Patient experience. Crothall Healthcare and St. Luke’s have launched an engagement initiative between nursing and EVS services. As a part of this initiative, Nursing and EVS managers attend each other’s meetings, set mutual goals, and track/report results to everyone. HCAHPS improvements are celebrated as clinical teams and housekeepers alike are recognized. The proof of our success is in the data – top box HCAHPS cleanliness scores have risen steadily every year since we began our collaboration – it really does take a village!
